a quiet month

Ohh, its nearly a month since I last posted...I haven't been doing very much stitching as I've been focusing on a rose altered book.  Trying new techniques and products has been fun and at times daunting.  It is nearly finished now.

Last night I did finish stitching my poppy quilt.  Now I have some painting and beading to do before binding off.  I should be done with it by the holidays and then I can reveal.

This is a birth gift I made for Kate and Ryan...a bit late getting it finished but I gave it to them today...
